Terra Linda Commercial Burglary Suspect Arrested

A 21 year old Marinwood resident was arrested today for the burglary of the CA Bike and Bean bicycle shop in Terra Linda.  Two high end bicycles and misc. parts were recovered during a search of the residence.  

On 12/07/11, the CA Bike and Bean bicycle shop on El Prado Ave. was burglarized.  The suspect broke out the front window of the business and took two high end mountain bikes valued at $4500 and three high end components valued at $2700.00.  On 12/13/11, Det. Kyle Hornstein developed information regarding the location of the stolen property and a probation search was conducted.  The two mountain bikes and components were located during the search.  Michael Abney, a 23-year-old year old resident of Marinwood, was taken into custody for the burglary.  He was booked at the Marin County Jail on the charges of commercial burglary, possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
