San Rafael, CA – December 23, 2012. The suspect in Thursday’s robbery at CitiBank has been taken into custody in San Francisco.
Jeremiah C. Martin was arrested last night by San Rafael Police detectives after 48 hours of intensive investigation. The bank robbery occurred at CitiBank on Third Street shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20th. The suspect entered the bank, went directly to a teller and demanded cash. No weapon was seen and he fled on foot. The SRPD Investigations Unit developed information identifying Martin and he was arrested at his 6th Street apartment in the Tenderloin at about 10 p.m. Martin, age 36, was booked at Marin County Jail for bank robbery as well as two outstanding warrants, one for possession of stolen property. The other warrant is an Oregon probation violation for dangerous drugs. Bail on the robbery charge was set at $75,000.
