Shooting Victim Shows Up At Fire Station

San Rafael, CA – October 23, 2013.  On Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at around 11:25 P.M., San Rafael Police Officers responded to a call for assistance from San Rafael Fire Department’s Station #4 in the Canal Neighborhood.  The fire department reported that a male victim arrived at their front door with an apparent gun shot wound.  San Rafael Fire and Paramedic personnel attended to the victim and transported him to a local hospital.  The victim’s condition is unknown at the time of this press release.  The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time due to the active and ongoing investigation.

SRPD Officers located the crime scene in the area of Pelican Way and Kerner Boulevard.  SRPD Detectives were working on leads to determine what had happened.
