San Rafael, CA – November 12, 2012. A commercial burglary at a car dealership was interrupted early today and resulted in one arrest.
This morning at approximately 4:52 a.m. Barbier Security responded to an alarm at Sonnen BMW at 1599 Francisco Boulevard East. When the security officers arrived, they discovered a back door that had been forced open and located a woman inside. They immediately called 911. San Rafael Police officers arrived and took the woman into custody, and set up a perimeter around the BMW dealership. SRPD, assisted by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office and a K9 unit from San Pablo Police, conducted a thorough search of the building and surrounding area. Unfortunately no one was located and it is believed that an accomplice fled prior to police arrival.
Marne Nicole Dager-Gallo, age 37 and all points from San Rafael, was booked at Marin County Jail for felony burglary and violation of probation. Gallo is on probation for theft related offenses.
The investigation is on-going, but it appears that nothing was taken from the dealership. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the San Rafael Police Department at (415) 485-3000.
