San Rafael, CA - February 15, 2011 - A shot was fired by an armed gunman during an after hours robbery of Sears.
On 02-15-2011, at approximately 09:30 PM, an armed gunman entered the office area of the Sears department store at the Northgate Mall. The gunman held the gun to the store manager and demanded money. The manager entered an office and placed an undisclosed amount of money into a bag given to him by the suspect. While in the office, the suspect fired a shot in the direction of the manager. The manager was not struck. The suspect fled out the back of the store with the money.
Apparently the suspect concealed himself in the store prior to it closing. There were no injuries.

After-hours, takeover style armed robbery at Sears.
